The issue, in brief

Our late father's family home (No. 6) and the company that holds it were placed in the Performance Trust in 1996 for his two sons, Danny and Noel. After his death, our cousin George Rollo claims sole ownership on the strength of 100 shares in his name — and, with his wife Aisha, dealt with the estate's money and assets (incl. the 4 Howden proceeds) outside any lawful administration. We dispute the claim in full and are moving to vindicate the Trust, compel a full accounting, and recover what is ours.

Go to… the whole file, in five places
Walkthrough a quick tour — click through, or full-screen
1 · WELCOME

This is Indaba

A private, secured command center for the whole matter — the documents, the emails, the testimony and the money trail, gathered into one evidence-linked file. Everyone who needs to work on it sees exactly the right slice, and nothing more. Click through — it takes about two minutes.

2 · THE PROBLEM
🧩

Why a matter like this needs one home

The truth of a family matter is scattered — across inboxes, drawers, phones and memories. Left scattered, it is easy to dispute and easy to lose. Indaba pulls every piece into one ordered place, so the picture holds together and speaks for itself.

3 · ONE FILE
🗂️

Everything in one command center

Documents, emails, testimony and the money trail — assembled into a single, evidence-linked file. You open it to one clear picture of where the matter stands, updated as it moves. No more hunting through five places for the one thing you need.

4 · WHO SEES WHAT
🔐

Four roles, four views

The Owner runs the whole file. Counsel works the case and the letters. A Witness sees only their own welcome page and gives their account. An Observer gets a read-only look for trusted supporters — no edits. Everyone signs in to the same platform; the platform decides what each person may see.

5 · SIGNING IN
🔑

Get in the way that suits you

Sign in with an email and password, or ask for a one-tap magic link sent to your inbox — no password to remember. Witnesses without email can be sent a personal one-time link by text. However you arrive, the header greets you by name and shows your role: "Name — Role."

6 · THE COMMAND CENTER
🧭

Your home screen

The Owner and Counsel land here: the matter at a glance, the hubs for the case, the letters, the witnesses and the workspace, plus this walkthrough and the About page always within reach at the top. One place to start; everything one click away.

7 · THE CASE
📜

Exhibits, ownership & the summation

Every document tied to what it proves, and the ownership picture laid out plainly — the Trust → company → property map. The whole substance of the matter, already built and cross-referenced, so counsel and family read from the same structured record.

8 · THE TIMELINE
📅

A dated chronology of what happened

The conduct in question, set out in order with dates and sources — a clear spine the whole matter hangs on. What was said, when, and what followed, so the pattern is visible at a glance rather than argued from memory.

9 · THE MONEY MAP
💷

Follow the money, cleanly

The accounting laid out as a map — what came in, what went out, and the questions that remain unanswered. Where a full account was asked for and never given, the gap itself is on the record, plainly, for counsel to press.

10 · LETTERS & OUTREACH
✉️

Every letter in and out

Correspondence tracked both directions, drafts prepared for counsel to settle and send, and a clear "what's next" beside each one — so nothing slips, deadlines are visible, and everyone works from the same current version.

11 · GIVE YOUR ACCOUNT
🎙️

Witnesses tell it their own way

A witness opens a page that greets them by name, reads a short set of questions, and answers however is easiest — type it, speak it, leave a voicemail, record a short video, or attach a file. Their statement saves straight into the file, attributed to them, ready for counsel.

12 · THE WITNESS CIRCLE
👥

Who can speak, and to what

The roster of people close to the matter — each with their relationship and what they can speak to — and a pipeline that shows, at a glance, who has been contacted, who has responded, and whose account is still to come. Nobody is forgotten.

13 · THE BACK OFFICE

Admin — running the file behind the scenes

For the Owner: add people and set their role, move witnesses through the pipeline, switch follow-up automations on or off, keep the contacts and alerts, and pull the reports. The controls that keep the whole matter moving, in one warm-lit control room.

14 · BUILT TO A STANDARD
🛡️

Private, secured, industrial-grade

Signed-in access only, role-by-role permissions enforced at the data layer, encrypted transport, and a managed backend that scales. Indaba is the first of the Convergence AI platforms and the working template for the others — the same standard applied to a family's most sensitive matter.

FOR COUNSEL · PRIVATE & PRIVILEGED

Welcome, counsel.

Everything you need to get up to speed — the matter in brief, the demand already issued, the High Court brief we’ve prepared, and a short questionnaire so we work well together from day one.

The matter — in brief

The family home (No. 6 Isabella Lane) and the company that holds it, Performance Consulting Services (Pvt) Ltd, were placed in The Performance Trust (1996) for the late father’s two sons, Danny & Noel. After his passing, our cousin Stephen George Rollo claims sole ownership on the strength of 100 shares recorded in his name — and, with his wife Aisha, dealt with the estate’s money and assets outside any lawful administration. We dispute the claim in full and are moving to vindicate the Trust, compel a full accounting, and recover what is ours.

The High Court brief — the relief we seek ↑ Top

Summary of the Founding Affidavit we’ve prepared (applicants: Danny & Noel, with trustee Erle “Bobby” Connolly).

  1. Urgent interdict + caveat over No. 6 — freeze any dealing or transfer.
  2. Declarator that the 1996 Performance Trust is the beneficial owner of the company and the property.
  3. Set aside George Rollo’s registration of the 100 shares; rectify the share register.
  4. Account & debatement from George & Aisha for the estate’s money and assets (incl. the Howden Close proceeds).
  5. Damages and punitive costs.

Documents for you
What you can expect from us
  • One organised case file (this) — timeline, parties, letters, documents and witness statements, always current.
  • A named point of contact (Danny · Noel) and prompt, decision-ready instructions.
  • Transparency both ways — we keep the file current, and ask you to post updates here so we’re all in sync.
A short questionnaire — so we start well

Please complete this. It helps us work together, keeps our understanding in writing, and — candidly — is how we evaluate and confirm counsel. Type your answers below.

Your answers are captured to the case file and visible to the family (admin). This same questionnaire is our reusable template for evaluating any firm.

Welcome — you’re our counsel

We’ve prepared your workspace: the matter in brief, the demand already issued, our High Court brief, and a short questionnaire. We’d be grateful if you’d complete the questionnaire — it keeps our understanding in writing and helps us work well together.

Convergence AI← Back to main
ONE ENGINE · MANY VENTURES

Convergence AI

The studio behind Indaba — the fusion of artificial intelligence, technology, and a fast-moving financial and geopolitical world that demands new infrastructure. Three years in the building and a lifelong passion: systems that turn complexity into clear paths forward. Indaba is one of them — and it shares an engine with everything below.

WHY THIS EXISTS

A labour of love — and of legacy

Indaba was built in the middle of a real matter: our own family’s fight to protect what our late father built. He never got to see it.

Estates, claims and disputes arrive at the worst possible moment — and too often the people who must carry them are grieving, scattered, and outmatched by whoever kept the better records. We decided the answer wasn’t another folder of documents. It was a system: one calm, private place where the truth of a matter is gathered, organised and made ready — so a family walks in already strong.

The work we do is, at heart, about protecting legacy. Sometimes we don’t get to choose the role — we become the bearers, the ones who have to walk through it ourselves. Indaba is what we built so the next family doesn’t have to walk through it alone.

The architect

Danny Bismark-Pettit

Founder & CEO of Convergence AI — a technologist, builder and futurist who has spent three decades at the frontier: from smart-card and payment systems and early Bitcoin, to African-market expansion, to today’s AI-powered platforms.

He builds where technology meets financial literacy, agricultural advocacy and diaspora community — guided by the philosophy of his forthcoming book, The Ubuntu Capitalist: that we rise by lifting others.

Indaba’s roots are personal and hard-won. Danny worked embedded with two law firms — LLPP and WBAA — on the Discrimination Financial Assistance Program, one of the largest efforts to right historic injustice against Black farmers in America. Touring the country, sitting with farmers, and translating discrimination into plain legal terms on the roadshow was a first-hand education in how cases are truly built — and where they break down. Indaba is what he built to fix that.

One engine, many ventures — all in service of legacy, dignity and opportunity.

WELCOME · THANK YOU FOR HELPING

Welcome, Bobby.

You're helping the Bismark family set the record straight on their late father's estate. This is a calm, private space — take your time, and tell us what you know in your own words.

💬 There's no wrong way to do this. Type it, speak it, leave a voicemail, or record a short video — whatever's easiest. You can save and come back anytime.

What this space is

Indaba is a Nguni word for a gathering where people come together to talk a matter through and reach the truth. This is a private, secure space where the Bismark family and their lawyers are gathering the facts of their late father’s estate. You were invited because you can speak to something true — and everything you share stays private, seen only by the family and their counsel. You’ll only ever see this page and your own statement; nothing else about the case.

2

Tell us what you know

1 · Confirm your details

Just so we can reach you if we need to. Name, email & phone required.

Address (optional)

2 · Tell us what you know

Answer any of these you can — a few sentences each is plenty. Skip any that don't apply. Prefer talking? Tap 🎙️ Speak your answer under any question and just talk — your words appear as text you can edit. More recording options (voicemail, video, attach) are at the bottom.

1 · How did you know the family, and the late father?
Just a sentence or two on who you are to the family — how you knew them, and for how long.
Tap, then talk — your words appear above as text you can edit.
2 · What do you know about the Performance Trust, and how the home and company were meant to be held for the two sons?
Anything you heard or saw — even secondhand — about how the property was meant to pass to Danny and Noel.
Tap, then talk — your words appear above as text you can edit.
3 · What were the parents' intentions for the property and for the family's future?
In their own words, if you remember them — anything they said about what they wanted.
Tap, then talk — your words appear above as text you can edit.
4 · What did you see or hear about how the father's affairs, money and household were handled — and by whom?
Names, dates, amounts or arrangements if you have them; rough recollection is completely fine.
Tap, then talk — your words appear above as text you can edit.
5 · What do you know about George's role, and how he dealt with the family and the people around your father?
Only what you witnessed yourself or were told directly — no need to guess.
Tap, then talk — your words appear above as text you can edit.
6 · Were you present for — or told about — any key moments: signings, meetings, handovers, or important conversations?
When and where, as best you recall, and who else was there.
Tap, then talk — your words appear above as text you can edit.
7 · Is there anything else you feel we should know?
Nothing is too small. If it stuck with you, it may matter.
Tap, then talk — your words appear above as text you can edit.
…or just tell the whole story your way
How the recording options work:
🎙️ Speak — click into any box above, press Speak, and just talk; your words appear as text you can edit.
📞 Voicemail — record a spoken message if you'd rather not type at all.
🎥 Video — record a short clip straight from your phone or computer.
📎 Attach — add papers, letters or photos that back up what you're saying.
🔒 Private & confidential · seen only by the family and their counsel · come back and edit anytime

CONVERGENCE AI · THE PLATFORM

About Indaba

Indaba is Convergence AI's case-intelligence platform — it turns scattered documents, emails and testimony into one structured, evidence-linked, decision-ready file, assembling in days the kind of preparation that would otherwise take months.

What Indaba is

Indaba is an AI-powered case-management & intelligence platform. It turns scattered documents, emails and testimony into one structured, evidence-linked, decision-ready file — assembling in days the kind of preparation that would otherwise take months.

The savings are the point. It collapses the hours a person spends organising a matter, and — because it hands professionals a case that is already built — it cuts the costly back-and-forth with lawyers and advisers. Everyone works from one tracked, always-current file, so progress is visible to all.

One platform, three editions

One engine, three setups — chosen by template at signup, and white-labelled for any organisation.

Indaba Case
Legal & disputes
Evidence-linked exhibits, ownership & money maps, correspondence tracking, and witness intake by text, voice or video — a case handed to counsel already built.
Indaba Works
Projects & people
Stages, tasks and checklists, a confidential intake for HR matters and grievances, a decision log, contacts and a metrics dashboard.
Indaba Venture
Ventures & raises
Project Preview — invite-only sharing of an idea or deal to an inner circle — plus a pitch/deck mode, a light data room and an interest tracker.

How it works — the honest version

What happens the moment you sign up. You create a matter and drag in whatever you have — documents, PDFs, photos, statements. Indaba's AI reads and structures them into one evidence-linked file: a timeline of events, an ownership and money map, tracked correspondence with deadlines, and witness intake you can take by text, voice or video right in the file. What would take weeks of shoebox-sorting is assembled in days.

Connecting your email — how the scanning actually happens

Indaba doesn't magically read your inbox. To have it review your email, you connect your mailbox once through secure sign-in (OAuth) with Google or Microsoft. You approve it on Google's or Microsoft's own screen, Indaba is granted read-only access, and you can revoke it at any time — your password is never shared with us.

Once connected, the AI scans the threads that relate to your matter, pulls the ones that matter, and links them into the file as evidence — with dates, people and context already attached.

Most tools do one slice — store your files, or answer a question. Indaba assembles the whole matter into a single decision-ready file and keeps it current.

Who it's for — in practice

Indaba was born from one family's fight, but the shape of the problem repeats everywhere: someone with a lot at stake, a pile of scattered evidence, and professionals who charge to assemble what they could have arrived with already built. Here's what that looks like across the people Indaba serves — click any one to walk through it.

Executive summary

Indaba is an AI-powered case-management and intelligence platform that turns scattered documents, emails and testimony into one structured, evidence-linked, decision-ready file. It was built and battle-tested on a live, cross-border estate dispute — assembling in days the kind of case preparation a legal team would bill for months.

The legal-technology market is large and growing fast, with AI the primary driver. Yet the incumbents are built as per-seat practice-management systems for law firms. They serve the firm — not the individual, the family, the founder, the community organisation or the advocate who must assemble and prove a matter, often the people with the most at stake and the least access.

That is Indaba's opening. One engine, three editions (Case, Works, Venture), deployable as a self-contained, branded app in days — with an optional secure backend for multi-user accounts, storage, transcription and automated alerts.

And the savings are the headline. Indaba delivers value on both sides of the table: it collapses the hours a person spends organising and reconstructing a matter into a file built in days, and — because it hands professionals a case that is already built — it sharply cuts the costly back-and-forth with advisers.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly is Indaba?
A private, secured platform that gathers everything about a matter — documents, emails, testimony and the money trail — into one organised, evidence-linked file. It was built for a real family estate dispute, and it's designed so everyone who needs to work on the matter sees exactly their part and nothing more.
Who can see what?
Access is by role. An Owner runs the whole file; Counsel works the case and letters; a Witness sees only their own welcome page to give a statement; an Observer gets a read-only view. Permissions are enforced at the data layer, so a person literally cannot load what they aren't cleared for.
How do I sign in?
With an email and password, or a one-tap magic link sent to your inbox — no password to remember. Witnesses without email can be sent a personal one-time link by text. However you arrive, the header greets you by name and role.
I'm a witness — how do I give my statement?
You'll land on a page that greets you by name and walks you through a short set of questions. Answer however is easiest — type it, speak it, leave a voicemail, record a short video, or attach papers. You can save a draft and come back anytime; when you submit, it goes straight into the file, attributed to you.
Is my information private and secure?
Yes. Everything sits behind a sign-in, traffic is encrypted, data is backed up, and role permissions are enforced at the database level. A witness's statement is visible only to the Owner and Counsel.
Does Indaba read my email automatically?
Only if you connect it, and only with your explicit permission. You approve read-only access once through Google's or Microsoft's own secure sign-in screen, and you can revoke it at any time. Your password is never shared.
Can Indaba be used for matters other than this case?
Yes — it's one engine with three editions: Case (legal & disputes), Works (projects & people) and Venture (ventures & raises). It can be white-labelled for any organisation. This build is the Case edition.
Who's behind it?
Indaba is a Convergence AI platform, built by Danny "Shumba" Bismark-Pettit — see the About Convergence AI section above for the wider ecosystem.

THE CASE · THE SUBSTANCE

The Case

The summation, the ownership picture, the exhibits, the timeline and the money — the whole matter in one place.
Summation

Our late father's home, No. 6 Isabella Lane, and the company that holds it were settled into the Performance Trust in 1996 for his two sons, Danny and Noel. After his death, our cousin George Rollo claims sole ownership on the strength of 100 shares registered in his name, and with his wife Aisha dealt with the estate's money and assets outside any lawful administration. We dispute that claim in full and are moving to vindicate the Trust, compel a full accounting, and recover what is ours.

Ownership & Trust

The chain of title runs Trust → company → property:

The Performance Trust (1996)
Beneficiaries: Danny & Noel
Performance Consulting
Holds the property
No. 6 Isabella Lane
The family home

George's claim rests on a bare registration of 100 shares — which confers no beneficial ownership, with no trustee resolution.
